Green was never one of my favorite colors, but after coming up with some green things for this post, I'm beginning to change my mind.

Happy St. Patrick's Day!

My other blog:

  1. the black cat with the emerald necklace - beautiful!

    so many shades of green...

I don't think I could live in one of those moss-covered cottages; too claustrophobic for me.

  2. If only there was a way for me to get the bearded green-eyed man into that vine-covered cottage ... oh, wait ... I have a vivid imagination. Score!~

  3. I was never a fan of green either except for the wear'in of the green on St Patricks. From an interior design stand point, any shade of green is terrible for a choice for a room. It not only cast an unflattering color to people, but also makes food unappetizing.

  4. I'm with Annie Marie about those moss-covered homes ... like something out of a late night horror film.

Generally, I enjoy green tones, as long as they're subdued -- sort of forest green or a hunter's green.
Now, that image of the green carnations? You made my heart smile! From the time I was a little girl, my father would give me a green carnation, usually a corsage, for my birthday. Every stinkin' year. Funny, now that I think about it, no-one's considered doing that since 1981.

  5. I like green. I remember meeting a girl in 1966 who had green eyes and I couldn't say anything intelligible because, well, her eyes were green. It was a very limited relationship. But she sang at my wedding 4 years later, so I guess we were friends.

  7. Michigan State Spartans!
    (go green go white)

    nature = best green

    someone I know
    said green was
    his favorite color
    the color of money

    my ex had green eyes
    he was reptilian unfortunately

    1. Green always makes me think of those Heineken bottles I used to be so fond of (too fond!) Happy St. Pat's Day, Jon!

P.S. These days it's 7 Up and Sprite (especially since Safeway is selling them in glass bottles once again)...

  9. Good to see your nod to St. Paddy's Day on this blog. :)
